Muktinath Yatra by Helicopter (4 Days / 3 Nights)

On the first day of your Yatra, you’ll arrive in Kathmandu and meet one of our tour representatives who will welcome you and make all the arrangements to transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. You will check in to your hotel and relax for some time in your room. In the evening you will head to the Pashupatinath Mandir for the holy Aarti Darshan. After attending the Aarti and seeking the blessings of Lord Pashupatinath you will return back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.

On the second day of your sacred trip, you will get ready for an early morning transfer to Muktinath from Kathmandu. You will catch a charter helicopter and enjoy stunning aerial views of the rugged landscapes of Nepal during the one hour and fifteen minutes flight. You will be dropped at Ranipauwa helipad which is situated near Muktinath Temple. From the Ranipauwa helipad, a 25-minute walk or a short 7-minute bike ride will take you to the Muktinath Temple.

Muktinath Temple holds lots of prominence for Buddhist and Hindu devotees. This spiritual destination helps you achieve moksha or liberation. Pilgrims can have the Darshan of the deity. They can also take a holy dip under the 108 Muktidhara, which is believed to grant salvation and wash away sins. After absorbing the surroundings' spiritual energy and completing the sacred rituals, you will head back to Ranipauwa helipad for your return journey to Kathmandu. You will spend the night at your pre-reserved hotel in Muktinath rejoicing the memories you have created during the holy journey.

Today you will relish a tasty breakfast in the morning at your hotel and then you’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Your exploration will cover historically rich and culturally significant landmarks in the valley. You will first visit the Pashupatinath Temple, a renowned Hindu pilgrimage destination that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located on the sacred Bagmati River bank and is known for its breathtaking architecture. It also houses the sacred lingam that stands as a symbol of Lord Shiva's cosmic energy. The serene ambiance of the temples provides the devotees the perfect opportunity to perform prayers and rituals amidst the tranquil surroundings. You’ll then visit Jal Narayan which is also called Budhanilkantha. It is situated at a distance of around 12 km from Kathmandu city and houses Lord Vishnu’s magnificent statue reclining in the middle of a small pond on a bed of serpents. This place attracts visitors seeking spiritual rejuvenation and solace.

Next, you will head to Swayambhunath Stupa which is situated atop a hill west of Kathmandu Valley. It is also called the Monkey Temple because it houses holy monkeys. From Swayambhunath you can enjoy majestic views of the entire Kathmandu city. Several temples and shrines surround the Stupa and it reflects a blend of Hindu and Buddhist architectural styles. Your last destination for the day will be Kathmandu Durbar Square which is hailed to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic square houses many courtyards, palaces, and temples that once served as the Malla kings of Nepal’s royal palace. After the excursion of Kathmandu's famous historical and cultural gems, you'll head back to your hotel and unwind for the day.

Have a mouth-watering breakfast in the morning and then pack your bags as your holy pilgrimage finally comes to an end. You will check out from your hotel and you will be transferred to your departure point marking the end of your Muktinath helicopter tour.
