Located at an elevation of approx.3100 meters above the sea level, Badrinath is one of the most prime destinations of Vishnu worshippers. Being a part of Chota Char Dham in Uttarakhand and Char Dham in India, Badrinath holds a great religious significance in Hinduism.
This sacred shrine of Lord Vishnu is opened for darshan only for a half part of the year and in the second part of the year, the temple is closed as the entire region gets covered with thick blankets of snow.
You are requested to reach Sahastradhara Helipad early morning so that you can board the helicopter. By 8 am you will be leaving Dehradun for your destination pilgrimage and after covering the aerial distance of 1 hour you will reach Badrinath at 9 am. Badrinath Temple is located only at a distance of 1 km away from the helipad and you will be provided with a car facility to cover this walking distance. Our tour representative will join you as the ground staff and will assist you to pay homage at Badrinath shrine. After paying homage at the shrine you will be transferred back to the helipad to board the helicopter. You will be reaching Sahastradhara helipad in the evening around 4 pm and your journey concludes here.
