Day 1: Yamunotri & Gangotri Darshan

You’ll head to Dehradun’s Sahastradhara helipad at around 7 am in the morning to catch the helicopter. After an hour-long journey, you’ll arrive at Kharsali where you will meet our representative who will assist you with the further journey. A palki will take you to the Yamunotri Temple. The trek from Kharsali helipad to Yamunotri temple is around 5.5 km and it takes 5.5 hours for the return trip by Palki. After the darshan, you will head back to Kharsali helipad and catch a helicopter that will take you to Gangotri. You’ll be taken back to Harsil.

Once you arrive at Harsil Airport you will meet our representative who will welcome you gladly. You will be transferred to your pre-booked resort which is close to the helipad. You’ll relish a lip-smacking lunch at your resort and then head to Gangotri Temple by car. Depending on the traffic the drive will take around forty-five minutes to one hour. After the darshan, you’ll head back to Dehradun. This will also mark the end of the spiritual pilgrimage.
