It takes almost 10 hours to cover the distance between Dehradun and Kedarnath is 10 hours as the two segments are located at a distance of almost 340 km. Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun – Kedarnath Shrine – Dehradun

7:00 AM - You will have to start your journey little morning so that you reach there on time. You are requested to report at the helipad little early to complete some flying procedures. At sharp 7 am you will be ready to fly for Kedarnath Shrine.

7:45 AM - After covering the aerial distance of 45 minutes you will reach Phata helipad from where you will board another helicopter to reach Kedarnath helipad. It takes almost 15 minutes to cover the distance between the segments.

8:00 AM - After flying for 1 hour you will reach the helipad from where you will have to cover the walking distance to reach the shrine. The distance between the helipad and the shrine is not more than 500 meters. So, it is easy to cover by walking.

8:15 AM - As the distance is not more than 500 meters so it doesn’t take more than 15 minutes to reach the shrine by walking.

9:30 AM - We offer you the facility of VIP Darshan Pass so you do not need to stand in a long queue waiting for your turn. Complete the Puja rituals, pay your homage, and offerings to Lord Shiva. After seeking his blessings for lifelong prosperity and wealth it’s time to return to the helipad to board the flight way back home.

9:45 AM- Fly for Phata helipad

10:00 AM - After 15 minutes of flying you will reach Phata helipad from where you will board another helicopter to reach Dehradun helipad.

10:45 AM - Deboard at Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun and your Kedarnath Temple visit by helicopter journey concludes here.

After Covid, we really wished to get darshan of baba kedar. Since we were travelling with a small son of 4 years of age, we wanted to go there by helicopter. While scrolling we came across yatra by heli company and immediately connected with them through whatsapp number given on website. The trip started off early in the morning and we were picked up from our hotel in Dehradun and dropped off at the helipad of sahastradhara. The helicopter ride was on time, very smooth and mind blowing. My son faced no problems while in the helicopter and he was having fun as well. At the phata helipad we changed to a government chopper, easily and we were finally dropped off at the kedarnath helipad near the temple. We were then taken for an assisted VIP darshan at the temple. It was a very magical experience. We were given about 2.5 to 3 hours to complete everything and then brought back to helipad and flown to Dehradun helipad. I never expected kedarnath yatra by helicopter to be this relaxing and smooth. Contrary to what people believe, booking a helicopter yatra package through an agency really helped us out.
